I needed a new dentist after seeing my previous dentist for more than 20 years. I noticed the Clairemont Smiles office a few years ago, and I’m incredibly glad I gave them a try. The staff are always friendly and professional, and my care—from basic cleaning to specialty crowns—has been top-notch. If you’re looking for a new dentist (or even if you’re not), Clairemont Smiles is worth considering as your top choice.

I scheduled an emergency service for the same day because I had broken my tooth next to my front teeth smh. I read the reviews after I booked my appointment and had doubts lol but it was New Year’s Eve and needed to get my tooth fixed asap. Let me just say, from start to finish I had an amazing experience with Clairemont Smiles Dentistry. I booked my appointment online for 3:30, they called me in around 12pm to come in case I needed work done. I was there for almost 3 hours, and in that entire appointment they were able to do my X-rays, impression, extraction, and a temporary bridge. I LEFT THAT APPOINTMENT 10000% satisfied! The entire staff had me laughing my whole appointment, just the vibes and conversations makes the environment and experience more comfortable. Dr Alvarado did an AMAZING job. He answered every question and concern I had thoroughly. Marella was great with helping me with my payment options, she took the time to help me find which option was better for my husband to pay lol. I wish I remembered the other 2 staff members because they were great also but I know one of them had a Filipino tribal band around his leg. He was very polite and respectful. Words can’t explain how happy I am that I took a chance on this place. If I could help anyone who is second guessing.. I’d say GO HERE. I definitely recommend! Staff and assistants, such as Julissa, are very kind and know what they're doing. I'm not a huge fan of the orthodontist, Dr. Haidar, that did my braces. He warned me to do invisalign instead of braces because I have a lot of crowns, but they forced me to get a bunch of work done (including a few crowns) before I got braces. It's almost like they were trying to make me pay more down the line on purpose. Then after I got the braces, a bracket would pop off every 2 weeks for 1.5 months. When I came in to get it fixed, he would make rude and unnecessary csomments when I was in the chair and couldn't talk back to him due to my mouth being propped open. After 2 months, the brackets stopped popping off... coincidence? **I would advise others to see someone else to get their braces done if you want someone nicer and more attentive instead of someone that'll tell you to "just get your teeth pulled to make room," or make rude comments. *Other than that, the other doctors are very knowledgeable! One even detected I needed surgery for TMJ, and I'm getting that fixed soon. They're very helpful and insightful.
